Fifth grade students created their own terrariums during our water cycle unit. A terrarium is a small, self-sustaining ecosystem for plants, where water travels from the soil into the air and then returns again—just like the natural water cycle. Learning is fun!

Reminder: The Fall Ball for Grades 4-6 is tomorrow night at Dahlgren Grade School.
🎉 Get Ready — The Fall Ball is Almost Here!
The countdown is on! The Dahlgren Grade School PTO is getting ready to host one of the most exciting events of the season — the Fall Ball! Mark your calendars for Friday, November 14th, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the DGS gym.
Students in grades 4–6 from both East Side and DGS are invited for an evening of music, dancing, and fun with friends. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season and make some great memories before the holidays begin!
Admission is $5 per student, and concessions will be available for purchase — so don’t forget a few extra dollars for your favorite snacks and drinks. Remember, school rules and dress code apply, so plan ahead and come ready to have a great time!
We can’t wait to see everyone out on the dance floor for an unforgettable Fall Ball night! 🍂💃🕺
